# AcreScout

> AcreScout lists rural land and acreage for sale across Canada, gathered from public listings (Kijiji, including
> REALTOR® listings shared through CREA, Centris and Zillow) and refreshed several times a day. Every listing is ranked
> by price per acre and water frontage, compared with similar land nearby, and checked for location accuracy and risks.

Facts on these pages are asking prices, not sale prices. Each listing page links to the original ad. Buyer rules
(non-resident taxes, farmland ownership limits) are summarised from government sources, with the date they were
checked; they are not legal advice. Free on every listing page: the value check (below, near or above market against
the similar-sized listings nearest to it) and the typical price per acre of similar-sized land in the region. Paid, in
the map app only: the exact figure behind the value check (the asking price against the expected price), the use
scores (recreation, building, investment, resources), the problems in each ad, the total cost to buy and parcel outlines.
